About this Project
The Guardian Building is one of the oldest, most iconic, and most beautiful buildings in Detroit. The ornate façade is comprised of over ninety (90) different types and colors of masonry materials, including terracotta, brick and limestone. Our team was selected to perform the mandatory five-year City of Detroit inspection on the façade (in accordance with the Detroit Façade Ordinance, Section 9-1-35). This ordinance requires a full inspection, meaning that the building was safely and carefully rigged and our skilled trades-people inspected each level of the building for any fall hazards or failed components. All conditions were documented and photographed for the Owner’s reference. A full report was then completed and submitted to the City.
RAM has performed dozens of similar inspections – while some were mandated by City ordinance, others were requested by building owners and managers seeking recommendations for repairs.

Michigan Law Enforcement Officers Memorial
We were honored to help build a monument in recognition of our fallen Michigan State Troopers. Being a part of this memorial is much more than just work for us, it is about giving back to those that spent every day risking their lives for our safety.
