About this Project
Location: Allendale, Michigan
Project Type: Concrete Restoration
At the GVSU Lubbers Stadium project, our team undertook concrete repairs to enhance structural integrity and aesthetic appeal. We meticulously addressed loose grout around railing posts, ensuring a seamless blend with the surrounding concrete. Additionally, we replaced deteriorated sealant between slabs and retaining walls to prevent water intrusion.
Our efforts included routing out and sealing cracks, as well as repairing spalled concrete areas to match the existing surface. After completion, thorough cleaning ensured a polished finish across all locations. Alternatively, in a separate phase, we meticulously removed and replaced cheek walls, employing precise excavation and demolition techniques to preserve surrounding structures. By installing reinforced concrete cheek walls with attention to detail, we seamlessly integrated them into the stadium's architecture, ensuring both functionality and visual coherence.
