Detroit medical center Weatherproofing

At the heart of the Detroit Medical Center campus, RAM’s Building Facade Restoration, Concrete Restoration, and Weatherproofing teams worked together to waterproof the main plaza. Water had been leaking into lower-level hospital areas housing MRI equipment and tunnels, requiring removal of concrete and brick and installation of a waterproofing system extending up surrounding walls. The project was completed in 90 days with over 17,000 man-hours and zero injuries, while strict dust and debris control ensured minimal disruption to hospital operations.
