Every RAM employee is responsible to make the health and safety of themselves and their co-workers a primary focus. This objective is fundamental to our well-being, as well as the operational efficiency of our company. Preventing accidents and injuries by implementing and practicing established safety rules is the goal for all employees. Everyone is focused on making it home safely to our loved ones at the end of the day.

Accountability

We hold each other accountable for the safety of our workforce. Job site safety inspections are required not only by our safety captains, but also by our management team. Everyone works together to ensure safety requirements are followed on every jobsite.

Proactivity

The RAM Safety Department works with outside agencies to conduct jobsite safety audits, ensuring ongoing compliance and awareness of new and updated policies.

Communication

Our safety captains, along with members of our management team, attend monthly safety meetings under the direction of our Safety Department. During these meetings, the group discusses field safety observations, new and existing procedures, and updates and expectations related to workforce safety.

Workforce Safety

We are dedicated to ensuring the safety and well-being of our workforce. In our pursuit of continual improvement, we recognized the need to upgrade traditional hard hats to advanced safety helmets. This transition was driven by our commitment to providing the highest level of protection for our employees in various work environments.

By adopting new helmets, we have significantly increased protection for the head, as opposed to the limited coverage offered by traditional hard hats. Additionally, we identified the importance of incorporating chin straps in our helmet design to further enhance safety measures.

Our transition to helmets has proven to be a critical evolution in our PPE program. With much research conducted, we were able to evaluate various options and select the best helmets and accessories tailored to the specific needs of our workforce. By investing in cutting-edge safety gear, we reinforce our commitment to fostering a safe and secure work environment for our employees.

Health and Wellbeing

We prioritize our employees' health and well-being by offering various resources and programs. Through our partnership with Ulliance, we provide access to mental health support, including counseling, coaching, and crisis support. We also encourage a healthy lifestyle by organizing wellness programs. RAM is committed to fostering a culture of care and promoting a healthy, balanced lifestyle for all employees.
